Tilak is studying in Gurukul Olympiad School. Tilak Mehta started the company “Paper.N.Parcel” at the age of 13. In 2018, he won the Young Businessman of the Year award at India Maritime.
How did the company start?
The idea to start the company started when he urgently needed some books from the other side of the city. One day his father came home after work but he was tired, so he could not ask him for the book and could not go anywhere himself. It was from here that Tilak got the idea of starting a startup that could ensure same-day delivery from one end of the city to the other. He decided to start a startup dedicated to carrying paper and small parcels within Mumbai for intraday delivery.
How does Papers and Parcels work?
Tilak named his company “Paper and Pencil”. Tilak took help from Mumbai’s dabba service people for delivery. He started PNP Company in July 2018. This company is such a startup that delivers your parcel in 24 hours and it works to deliver parcels weighing up to 3 kg. Clients such as pathology laboratories, boutiques and brokerage firms mainly use PNP’s services. There are more than 200 employees working in this company and 300 Dabbawalas work with them. Everyday they deliver Thousands of parcels.
