Thar Desert

The Thar Desert of India is also known as the Great Indian Desert. It is the 17th largest desert in the world, and the 9th largest subtropical desert in the world. The Thar desert is spread over an area of ​​about 2 lakh 80 thousand square kilometres. About 23 species of lizards and 25 species of snakes can be seen in the Thar Desert. The Great Indian Desert is mainly known for Blackbuck, Great Indian Bustard, Indian Wild Ass, Caracas, Golden Fox etc. It extends into Thar Cholistan in the Punjab province of Pakistan. This desert is bounded in the east by the Aravalli ranges, in the west by the fertile plains of the Indus, in the Nara valley of Pakistan and the alkaline areas of the Rann of Kutch, and in the north by the alluvial plains of Haryana and Punjab.

Gobi Desert

The Gobi Desert is located in China and Mongolia. The Gobi is one of the coldest deserts in the world, where the temperature drops to minus forty degrees. Most of the Gobi desert is not sandy but rocky. Here the climate of the desert changes rapidly. Here, not only does the temperature change very quickly throughout the year, but there is also a wide change in temperature within 24 hours. It is the fifth largest desert in the world and the largest deserts in Asia. The Gobi Desert extends from the eastern hills of the Pamir in the west to the Khingan ranges in the east, and from the Altai Khangai and Yablonoi ranges in the north to the Altayn and Nanshan hills in the south. The Gobi Desert is believed to be the habitat of the Shbekiterian camel, which has two humps.

Karakum Desert 

The Karakum Desert is a desert located in Central Asia. 70 percent of the country of Turkmenistan comes in the region of this desert. Karakum is bordered by the Caspian Sea to the east and the Aral Sea to the south. The area of ​​Karakum is 3,50,000 sq km. Rain falls here on an average once in 10 years. It is one of the largest sandy deserts in the world.

Kyzylkum Desert

The Kizil Kum Desert is a desert located in Central Asia that covers Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. It is the 11th largest desert in the world.

Taklamakan Desert

The Takla Makan Desert is located in the Jinjiang province of western China. It is the largest desert in China. It is bounded by the Kunlun Mountains in the south, the Pamir Mountains and Tian Shan (Jandland) in the west and north, and the Gobi Desert in the east. The total area of ​​Taklamakan is 337A000 sq km. Taklamakan Being close to Siberia is a cold desert

Dasht-E Margo

Dasht-e Margo is a desert region in the southern provinces of Helmand and Nimruz in Afghanistan.The desert is adjacent to the Dasht-e Khash and Registan Desert. Dasht.a.Margo is also called the desert of death. It is the 20th largest desert in the world.

Arabian Desert

The Arabian Desert is a vast desert located in western Asia that extends from Yemen in the south to the Persian Gulf in the north and from Oman in the east to Jordan and Iraq in the west. Most of the Arabian Desert lies in Saudi ArabiaIt occupies most of the Arabian Peninsula, with an area of 2,330,000 square kilometers.  It is the largest  desert in Asia.

Tottori Sand Dunes

Tottori Sand Dunes  located outside the city center of Tottori in Japan. it is the largest and Japan’s only sand dunes. the Tottori Sand Dunes are part of Japan’s San’inkaigan National Park, a UNESCO Global Geopark.
