May 23, 2023 was a big day for the students preparing for UPSC because on this day the Union Public Service Commission has declared the result of Civil Services Examination 2022. In which girls have won the first four places out of top 10. In this examination, Union Public Service Commission selected 933 candidates in which 613 are male and 320 are female. The first place has been secured by Ishita Kishore, a resident of Bihar. She achieved this success in her third attempt. About Ishita Kishore and family
Ishita Kishore was born in 1996 in Hyderabad. She is basically a resident of Bihar. His father’s name is Sanjay Kishore, who was an officer in the Indian Air Force. Presently he is not in the world. His mother is a ‘retired’ teacher. Due to her father being in the Air Force, her family lived in different places. Being born in Hyderabad, he completed his ‘preliminary’ education from Hyderabad. Ishita spent most of her time in Delhi. At present, she lives in Greater Noida, UP.
Her educaton
Ishita completed her education from New Delhi Air Force Bal Bharti School. She was on top in every class. After her 12th, she joined Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi from where she graduated with honors in economics. Apart from this, Ishita was also involved in all the activities of the school and college.
Career of Ishita Kishore
After graduation, Ishita worked for two years as a risk advisor at Ernst & Young Company. She worked at EY in Gurgaon from 2017 to 2019. She represented India as a part of the Indo China War 2017 organized by the Government of India and also visited Beijing, Hefei and Shanghai. Apart from this, she was also a part of the commerce society at Shri Ram College of Commerce and she used to organize different events every year.
UPSC journey of Ishita Kishore
Ishita’s father was in the Airforce, so she got the spirit of service from her father. After working in a multinational company for two years, she left the job and started preparing for UPSC. Ishita Kishore took the first exam in 2020 in which she failed. She tried again in 2021 but this time also she failed. She could not even pass the prelims. But did not give up and re-appeared in UPSC 2022 and got first position in third attempt. She chose Political Science and International Relations as an optional subject in the UPSC exam. She has given the credit of this success to his mother.
