Who is sonal Goel?

IAS Sonal Goel is the most popular IAS officer of the country. She was born on 05 November 1982 in Panipat district of Haryana state. Her father’s name is I.C. Goel who was a chartered accountant and his mother’s name is Renu Goel. Her father lived in Delhi, due to which most of Sonal’s time was spent in Delhi. He did his studies from Delhi’s D.A.V. public school. He is a B.Com (Honours) graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi. She Completed his master’s degree from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). After this, he studied LLB from Delhi University.

IAS Sonal Goel has been a bright and disciplined student since her childhood. When Sonal was studying LLB from Delhi University, she started preparing for UPSC exam. When Sonal made her first attempt in 2006, she failed. After this, in 2007, she gave the exam with double preparation. In which he secured 13th rank.

She had obtained 1189 marks in the mains examination and 183 marks in the personality test. Her total marks were 1372 and 59.65 per cent.

Sonal did not know much about IAS. When she read an article related to this in a magazine, she got the inspiration to become an IAS. After this she decided to become an IAS officer.

Sonal Goel’s husband’s name is IRS Aditya Yadav. They got married in 2009. Sonal Goel met IRS Aditya Yadav for the first time in 2004 during the final examination of ICSI.
