There were women candidates in the first three places of the Civil Services Examination 2021. In which the first position was secured by Shruti Sharma, second position was secured by Ankita Agarwal. The third position in this examination was secured by IAS Gamini Singla of Chandigarh. She has achieved this success in the second attempt. Gamini Singla and her family
Gamini Singla is a resident of Sanam village in Sangrur district of Punjab. She was also born here. Both his mother and father are doctors. Her father’s name is Dr. Alok Singla and her mother’s name is Dr. Neeraj Singla. Brother’s name is Tushar Singla and he is a graduate from IIT Kharagpur.
Gamini Singla’s Education
Gamini completed her schooling till class 10 from Mount Convent School in Jindwadi, Nangal. Studied in Chandigarh till class 12th. He did his B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh. After doing B.Tech, he got a job in JP Morgan Chase & Company but left the job in 06 months in 2018. After that she started preparing for civil service and got the result of her hard work in the year 2022. On May 30, 2022, she came up to 3rd rank all over India, after which her happiness knew no bounds.
UPSC Topper IAS Gamini Singla Marks
Gamini Singla had 858 marks in written exam and 187 marks in interview. She got a total of 1045 marks out of 2075. Gamini stood third in this examination. She has cleared the Civil Services Examination with Sociology as an optional subject.
Gave success credit to father
IAS Gamini Singla gave the credit of her success to her father. Gamini told that her father used to guide her like a teacher and used to study together like a friend. She told that her childhood dream of becoming an IAS officer came true only because of the support of her parents. She says that her father used to discuss everything with her so that he could achieve his goal. Her father used to keep newspaper cuttings to save his time.
