Who is Ankita Agrawal?
Ankita Agarwal was born in Bihariganj, Madhepura, Bihar. His family is a business family. Her grandfather’s name is Maliram Agarwal who is a hardware businessman. Her father’s name is Mr. Manohar Agarwal and his mother is a housewife. Ankita’s family shifted to Kolkata in West Bengal. At present, her entire family lives in West Bengal. Ankita Agarwal received her early education in Bihariganj, Bihar. He graduated from Saint Stephen’s College in the year 2017 with Economics Honors.
UPSC journey
After completing her college, Ankita worked for a year in Dalberg consulting firm. After a lot of thinking, she left this job and started preparing for UPSC. She appeared for the Civil Services exam three times in 2019, 2020, 2021. He secured AIR 236 rank in 2019 and trained with the Indian Revenue Service Customs and Indirect Taxes. Despite being selected for the IRS, she Decided to work harder to join Indian Administrative Service. Ankita wanted to do engineering. But later started preparing for Civil Services Examination and got second rank in Union Public Service Commission. She chose West Bengal as her cadre preference as his family lives in West Bengal.
