Acharya Prashant family

Acharya Prashant was born on 07 March 1978 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. His father was an administrative service officer. Acharya was the eldest of his three siblings. He was very brilliant in studies since childhood. He won many awards in his school life. His dream was to become an IAS officer. His all family members were also government servent, due to which he also started preparing for UPSC.

Acharya Prashant’s schooling was done in Lucknow, after that he obtained engineering degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 1999 and then in 2003 from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.

Acharya Prashant career

All the members of Acharya Prashant’s family were in government jobs. Prashant also wanted to become an IAS officer. He had already made up his mind for this. He passed the examination and within two months of training he came to know the reality of the government servants. Acharya Prashant loved freedom, he had understood that after doing the job of IAS, his freedom would be snatched and he would have to work under the upper officers and leaders. They did not want to dedicate their lives to a system that kept dictating them. After this, he left all these and adopted the attitude of spirituality.
